The most sustainable structure is often the one we already have.
We are a consulting engineering practice whose entire subject is existing structure. We work where drawings are incomplete, materials have aged, use has changed and decisions carry consequence.
Existing structures cannot be designed; they must first be understood. Investigation is not a preliminary formality but the substance of the work.
We prefer the smallest intervention that achieves the required performance, and we document why it is sufficient. Reversibility matters, particularly in historic fabric.
Safety, performance, feasibility, cost and architectural intent are weighed together. An elegant calculation that cannot be built on site is not a solution.

How the practice is organised
Structural assessment
Ref_T01
Seismic and static verification of masonry, reinforced concrete and steel structures.
Rehabilitation design
Ref_T02
Repair, strengthening and adaptive reuse design, with execution detailing.
Investigation & monitoring
Ref_T03
Non-destructive testing, instrumentation and interpretation of measured data.
Technical advisory
Ref_T04
Due diligence, expert opinion and intervention economics for owners.

Reuse before replacement. Where a structure can be kept in service safely, keeping it is almost always the lower-carbon and lower-risk engineering answer.
